Module 1: Wearable Paper Construction
My wearable paper construction was a harness-like structure with long draping sleeves that hung from my shoulders, to dramatize the rotation of one's shoulder and the transfer of movement down the arm.
Each of the structural pieces - the collar, harness, and the tiers of the sleeves - were connected with rotating brass fasteners, to allow the piece to bend, flex and curve with my upper body while I walked.

The highlight of the piece, however, was the fifty layers of fringe, hand-cut from long sheets of wax paper, stacked on top of each-other for maximum impact in motion.
