Module 3: Illumination and Transformation
My concept is the product of mutating my three primary inspirations from “illumination” and “transformation” - chandeliers, masks, and rotating light sculptures - into an interactive spinning sculpture.
This piece aims to subvert the idea of the pure, sterile, and static nature of an illuminated chandelier into something more graphic, imposing, and macabre, through its movement and proportion.
